if i could select a them for web deign contest it would be "if you had $25,00, what are 3 ways you would spend it". i think this is a great theme for web design because it gives people the time to actually think. some people would choose to give half of it to charities or spend it on their family and themselves. it gives you a chance to see how people really are when they have money in their pocket.
This week we learned how to fully edit a photo. we learned how to erase blemishes and smooth out skin. we learned how to crop an image without altering specific parts of the photo. we also learned how to apply pop art to a photo of our interest. the lesson i enjoyed the most was getting rid of parts of a photo without messing it up. i enjoyed that the most because i could completely erase a bush or a tree and you would never notice. i might use it on my themed website by getting rid of random background people out of the photos that i take without altering the photo. Andy Warhol is known for the pop art idea. vignette kind of puts the "spot light" on an image. it puts more focus on the image that you are looking at by putting a darker tint around the image.
I have gained a lot from taking this course. i have learned how to code a whole website in a span of a week which is probably challenging for some adults. you have ranted me withe the opportunity to create my own website. I have learned how to Photoshop really cool photos. you have granted me with the opportunity to make my own story for my website for everyone to read.
pocket knifepage 2 survival item My first item is a pocket knife. This item can be used for cutting wood to make weapons. It can be used for hunting animals for food. It can also be used for cutting a path through the forest for a clear view of my surroundings. Did you know that the largest model is the "SwissChamp" with 33 features. Over 450 steps are required in its manufacture. I chose a pocket knife as my first item because it is extremely useful, especially if you are stranded. It can help you protect yourself from predators who want to have you as their meal. It can also help you out of sticky situations of you are trapped between tree branches. A pocket knife is also helpful because of its size. It can easily fit into your pocket and is very convenient. FILTERING STRAWpage 3 survival item My second item is a water filtering straw. The filtering straw was invented by Dr. Moshe Frommer, scientist at the Weizmann institute of science, Israel. The filtering straw filters a max of 1000 liters of water. Removes almost all of water borne bacteria and parasites. The filtering straw is enough for one person to survive for one year. The life straw was distributed in the 2010 Haiti earthquake, 2010 Pakistan floods, and 2011 Thailand floods. The reason I chose the life straw was so that I can survive. A human being can survive 3 weeks without water ( some 8 to 10 days). Without the filtering straw I could easily get a disease depending on how much Bactria is in the water. Water is a vital part of living and without it I would either be ill or possibly dead. TEDDY BEARpage 4 survival item
My last item is a teddy bear. A teddy is mostly know as a soft toy, but to me it is known as bait. Did you know the smallest teddy bear is only 8.5 mm tall. The importance of this item is to reel in my prey. By doing so I would take all the stuffing out if the bear and put inside of it a dead rabbit carcass. This will reel in a bigger animal for me to kill. Once the animal comes near the teddy bear I would throw a spear that I made from a thin branch with my pocket knife. A teddy bear can help many people survive without them knowing how. A teddy bear can be used as bait for Lear in other animals. It can be used to hold in goods that won't fit in your pocket. It can also be used as a weapon by putting stones inside of it and hitting your prey. A teddy bear is a useful item, believe it or not, and could help you if you are ever stranded on a island or a forest. ![]() The first page of my website turned out great. It took a while but with enough time me and my partner had it down. my favorite feature of my website are the navigation buttons. My partner and I put a lot of effort into it and made sure they were perfect. My least favorite part of my website is my URL. i wish it could be easier so that anyone who wants to look up the website can do so, but without the hassle. I would rate my website a 7.5 because even though it works, it isn't perfect and i wish that i could make it fancier in the future. These 5 navigation buttons took quiet a long time but was worth every second. Every button explains a story. The home button was the beginning of my journey through the northern peninsula, it explains how I got myself in such a situation. The teddy bear button explains how we survived. I had to make traps to catch my prey for food to survive. The conclusion button explains how I ended the journey. It will tell the reader what I learned. It explains my journey even more and how I escaped.
The article I just read was about the font "comic sans" and how to use it. You shouldn't use comic sans when typing a serious letter, but instead use it to invite a kid to a birthday party. comic sans is a fun font and is easy for dyslexic people to read. my favorite font is Lucida handwriting. its personality is very classy but yet still fun.
